ELS FOR AUTISM - PROGRAM DEPARTMENT

Behavior Technician (P/T Contract)

  • The part-time contracted Behavior Technician provides 1:1 and group behavioral intervention services to children and adults diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disorders. 
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment is individualized to meet the unique needs of each child. Behavioral programs may be used to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote skill acquisition. 
  • Areas of focus include communication, daily living skills, play skills, social skills and personal hygiene.

Recreation Services Coordinator (F/T)

  • The Recreation Services Coordinator is experienced in working with people with developmental disabilities and has worked in sports and recreation services in the past. Knowledge of golf is necessary for this position as the primary curriculum developed by the Foundation is the Ernie Els GameON Autism GOLF program. This position develops and implements all sports and recreation programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder for the Els for Autism Foundation at The Els Center of Excellence (ECOE).

University Practicum Placement Opportunities

  • All practicum graduate students in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) or Speech & Language Pathology must commit to a full-time schedule (35-40 hours per week)
  • Graduate students needing practicum placements to meet their university requirements in ABA or Speech & Language Pathology should fill out the application here
  • Practicum opportunities are based on availability per each semester.

Observation or Supervised Hours 

  • Graduate students in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) or Speech & Language Pathology needing observation hours or supervised hours to meet their university requirements should fill out the application here.
  • All opportunities for observation hours and/or supervision hours are based on availability per each semester

ELS FOR AUTISM - DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Special Events Internship, Summer 2017 (P/T)

  • Participants will gain valuable skills relating to the planning and execution of fundraising events as well as experience working for a non-profit organization.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to assist in a wide variety of event categories.
