The Learning Center at The Els Center of Excellence

The Learning Center at The Els Center of Excellence is a nonprofit Palm Beach County charter school, serving children with autism ages 3 - 14. The Learning Center is now in its fourteenth year as a charter school, sharing this distinction with only one other existing charter school in Palm Beach County. Currently serving over 100 students, the school's curriculum in based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and provides quality special education programs that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. The goal for every student is to maximize their potential using evidence based practices. They are committed to providing a quality education to all our students as well as providing much needed support to our parents. The student/teacher ratio is 3:1. All of our teachers are certified in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and/or working towards the certification as well as the Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement. We have full-time speech and language pathologists, SLP assistants, full-time occupational therapists, BCBA/SLPs, and behavioral assistants on staff.

Renaissance Learning Academy

Renaissance Learning Academy is a non-profit Palm Beach County charter high school serving students ages 14-21 with autism spectrum disorders including Aspergers. The Renaissance Learning Academy’s mission is “Preparation for Life After School”. To achieve this mission our school helps individuals with autism spectrum disorders in the areas of academics, vocational, functional life skills, social and communication skills.
